The Phoenix Protocol

How we deliver

Four steps. No shortcuts. 24 to 72 hours from approval to on-site. A certified crew led by a Phoenix field lead on every project. That's how floors last 20 years instead of 3.

The 4-Step Protocol

From call to cured

01

Assessment & Quote

Free, no-pressure. We diagnose your slab and spec the right system.

02

Fast Scheduling

Most projects start within 24-72 hours of approval.

03

Precision Install

Prep, coat, topcoat. Certified Phoenix crew led by a field lead.

04

Cure & Deliver

Walk and drive at 72 hours. Warranty activated on day one.

01
Step One

Assessment & Quote

Every project starts with a direct conversation — phone or on-site. We look at the slab condition, the environment it lives in, the traffic it'll see, and the timeline you need.

For commercial and industrial projects, we schedule an on-site visit to run ASTM F1869 calcium chloride and F2170 moisture tests before we quote. Slabs reading above industry thresholds (3 lb/1,000 sf/24 hr MVER or 75% RH) need moisture mitigation — and we quote that in, upfront, rather than discovering it mid-install.

What you get

  • checkWritten quote with system specifications
  • checkTimeline estimate (start + completion + cure)
  • checkMoisture test results (commercial projects)
  • checkClear scope — no surprise add-ons mid-project

Typical timeline: 24-48 hours from first contact to written quote.

02
Step Two

Fast Scheduling

Once you approve the quote, we schedule. Most projects start within 24 to 72 hours. Commercial and industrial projects sometimes need 5-7 days of lead time for material ordering or occupied-facility sequencing — we tell you upfront.

We don't stack projects three-deep. Each crew handles one project at a time, which means no handoffs, no rushed installs, and no "we'll come back tomorrow to finish."

What we coordinate

  • checkYour schedule (work hours, delivery windows, off-hours access)
  • checkWeather (we don't coat in rain or direct sun on fresh primer)
  • checkMaterial delivery to site
  • checkSite prep (clearing, utility access)

Step Three

Precision Install

Install is where most coatings fail — and it's where we spend most of our energy. Every crew follows the same protocol regardless of project size.

Day 1

Surface Prep

Diamond grinding or shot blasting to the right CSP (Concrete Surface Profile) for the system. Crack and joint repair. HEPA-filtered vacuum throughout — minimal dust.

Day 1-2

Primer + Body Coat

Moisture-tolerant primer (if needed per test results), then the epoxy body coat. Flakes, quartz, or color pigment broadcast while wet for decorative systems.

Day 2-3

Topcoat

UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat on outdoor or sun-exposed installs. Chemical-resistant topcoat on healthcare or food-service installs. System-matched to the use case.

Typical install duration: Residential 1-3 days. Commercial and industrial 3-5 days minimum depending on scope and sequencing.

04
Step Four

Cure & Deliver

After the final coat, the clock starts on cure. Florida humidity can affect cure slightly — we spec moisture-tolerant systems that handle it.

24 hrs
Light foot traffic
72 hrs
Walk & drive
5-7 days
Full vehicle / heavy load

Handoff includes

  • checkCare guidelines document
  • checkWarranty certificate (10 years residential / 1 year commercial & industrial)
  • checkSystem specifications on file for future reference
  • checkDirect phone line to a company representative for any questions post-install
