Meat Market Cooler & Freezer
A cold-storage flooring project for a meat market in Sanford, FL, where the floor has to hold up to sub-freezing temperatures, constant moisture, and daily washdown with harsh sanitation chemicals. Phoenix installed a Poly Slurry Broadcast (SLB) system finished with a Sherwin-Williams Resuflor 3741 topcoat — seamless, slip-resistant, and built to stay intact in a food-processing environment.

Poly Slurry Broadcast System
A troweled slurry base coat broadcast with aggregate, then locked in with a Sherwin-Williams Resuflor 3741 topcoat. The result is a thick, monolithic, seamless floor bonded to the slab — no tile, no grout lines, no joints for bacteria or residue to hide in.
Chemical & Sanitation Resistant
A meat market floor gets cleaned constantly with aggressive sanitizers and degreasers. The Sherwin-Williams Resuflor 3741 topcoat was specified to take repeated harsh-chemical washdown without breaking down, softening, or losing its bond.
Broadcast Slip Resistance
The aggregate broadcast builds traction directly into the floor. In a cooler or freezer — wet, cold, and walked all day — that texture is what keeps footing safe instead of turning a wet floor into a hazard.
Built for Cold Storage
Cooler and freezer floors live through constant moisture and temperature swings that peel a thin coating off the slab. This system was selected to stay bonded and stable through the thermal cycling a cold-storage room puts it through.
Integral Cove Base
The floor coves up the wall in a continuous radius instead of stopping at a 90° corner. That removes the floor-to-wall crevice that traps meat scraps and wash water, so the room can be hosed and sanitized wall-to-wall.
